tanya mcguire's recycled beads
Aren't they neat. I love the freeform shape of each bead!!
this is what she writes about them....
This set of beads was made from the glass of two different wine bottles. As a special project I have embarked on, to reuse more and waste less, I have a friend who has been bringing me wine bottles. I take them and break them and then melt the glass to form these lumpy bumpy bottle beads. Making them from the wine bottles does not make them lumpy and bumpy but I liked them that way so that is the way I left them. There are 13 beads in this set of various sizes. The set measures about 3 and ¼ inches long.
