pcagoe challenge entry

The theme was 'showtime', your favorite movie show etc. I cjose 'Mama Mia' as I had seen it while this challenge was on my mind and the song at the beginning of the movie 'Dot-dot-dot' stuck in my brain. This pendant includes three small glasscabachon encased in a mokume gane pendant. The bail is glued on and the double strand of waxed cotton cord is finished with a silvertoned spiral clasp.
Stay tuned for the other entries in a day or so...get ready to vote!!!!

Get Glassy

Today's post is to honor another glass artist on CGGE and the Glassanarchy, getglassy. She not only is an excellent glass artist but has skills with the computer I can only wish to have. She's the mastermind behind the Cgge and Glass anarchy websites. Her along with Jo from Glassprimitif. They are truly MVP's. Here are a few of my favorites from her stores. Stop by www.glassanarchy.com and take a look at more of her work. Pendants that make you smile!

Jo's blog

I found this cute little poem about her favorite color- red, who would've guessed?

Red is my favourite colour - can you tell?
Let's take a minute here to appreciate it.
Red is bright, it is dark, it is the colour of blood, passion and death.
Red looks great with black and white.
Red is strong and stirs the soul, it comes in many guises and has many names - vermilion, scarlet, crimson, tomato, pillar box, cherry and let's not forget ruby. Red is a great diversifier, it can disguise itself in cunning ways to make pink, orange and violet.
Pink is Red disguised as something soft and feminine but with a dagger behind her back.
Orange is Red in a good mood, sunny and happy and violet is Red in a complete, mind blowing temper tantrum.
Red is the colour of anger, of "seeing red" or the "red mist". It's the colour behind your eyes on a hot day and the colour of migraine.
Red is great to wear - on your toenails, on your lips, clothes, hair colour and shoes. There is nothing left to analyse.

Glassanarchy

Glass Anarchy is just that....a group of glass artists who live outside the box
and are a bit independent. :)Each artist has their own unique style and love of
glass. Some make fused pieces, others make beads and stained glass.

The group decided on the theme of a Garden to showcase the art from the group.
Many are having some kind of special, so in order to find out if they are having
a promotion or not, check out each shop.
Just to show the site and the different styles, go see...
