recycled wall pockets

I just love making something from junk, or obviously not junk! These wall pockets are made in a kiln from a glass jar. It's called slumping and it basically means it is melted into a flattened state. I feature these in my etsy store for sale. I have placed holly and a red bow along with a polymer clay christmas stockin inside this one for a holiday touch.

I love to play with this stuff! I made this pendant with it and I just love it. Made the earrings to match and I love them almost as much. They're for sale in my etsy store.

torn between the season we're enjoying now and forced to prepare for the coming christmas season I have a fall leaf I've experimented with and am pleased with. This was my first. It's made of dichroic glass. I'm a leaf lover year round.....
