She's a lovely fellow seller on etsy who I've come to know through the creative challenge. It is a weekly event for whomever would like to join by where a theme is listed every Monday morning by Jewelstreet. This week the theme is Paris, the interpretation is totally up to the artist but we ask that you create something with the theme in mind, not promote something you already have in your store. It's just a fun thing, Everyone's welcome!

bottle slumping
bottle slumping is merely melting a bottle in the kiln until it relaxes to a flat state. They're so cool. Imagine the possibilities these bottle. The appletini bottle slumps such that it has lovely ridges all the way around it. I have adorned it with beads made by smokeylady54 who sells her beads on etsy. www.smokeylady54@etsy.com cute lady bug. I see this on might dresser filled with earrings from the day. I empty mine once a month or so. The other bottle is from Perrier, bottled seltzer water...yuck!! I don't like it but the bottle slumps very nicely. They're commonly used for snack plates. Imagine serving your guests cheese and crackers on a serving platter like this. It's just fun. I also see this to incorporate into a wine cheese and cracker gift basket. You tell me your ideas on it...I'd be interested. I'll be posting and selling them in my etsy store pronto.

bubbles
I am so fascinated by unusual techniques with whatever medium I'm working with. One of my most recent fascinations is bubbles in glass. The colors are georgeous and just the idea of air being caught in glass catches my attention. I have recently made these and posting them on my etsy site soon. They are mounted on sterling silver wires.

St Theresa's prayer
St. Theresa's Prayer:
May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle intoyour bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.
Mother Theresa is such a blessing!

bible school flip flops
this is one of the bible school projects I have planned for the children next week.Drawing on their own set of Old Navy flipflops. I think they'll be excited about this craft. I lead the craft room for bible school and this is one of the neater items I've planned. great advetising tool and "fun" for the children to make and wear.
This is a glass angel suncatcher I made for a 'creative challenge' I participated in on etsy, an online shoppong website for only handcrafted items and supplies for such.
My store www.papernclay.etsy.com is there and this is for sale there. Please stop and browse, tell me what you think. While you're there have fun checking out other stores. The talent there is amazing.
A good friend of mine also has a store there www.smokeylady.etsy.com
We both recently started working with glass and having so much fun with it.
